Stroll along the ancient Roman aqueduct

Segovia, an ancient capital city brimming with Roman ruins, is a charming Spanish town in my opinion. The most common way to visit Segovia is to base yourself in Madrid and plan a day trip to Segovia.

Segovia, located northwest of Madrid, was once the center of the Kingdom of Castile. Its old town, nestled on a rocky outcrop, boasts numerous Roman architectural structures, including the Roman Aqueduct, Alcazar de Segovia, and the Cathedral. Even the surrounding city walls date back to the Roman era.
