A picturesque pond (Seki City, Gifu Prefecture)

I went to the Nameless Pond (commonly known as Monet's Pond) (Seki City, Gifu Prefecture), which resembles Claude Monet's painting "Water Lilies"!

The spring water was crystal clear, and the colorful carp were swimming as if they were floating, which was beautiful🧊

The water lilies start to bloom from the end of May to October, and the amount of spring water entering the pond increases from spring to autumn, so the water becomes more transparent!

The spring water comes out at 14℃, so Monet's Pond does not freeze, and even when the temperature drops below freezing, you can see the fantastic scenery of the water lilies blooming in the unfrozen pond where steam is rising🪷🧊

Location: 440-1 Itadori, Seki City, Gifu Prefecture
Parking: Free, 200 spaces for regular passenger cars
There are four parking lots, but you have to walk a little to get to the third and fourth ones. There are restrooms in the first parking lot.
