[Akita] Historic samurai residence🏘️

📌 🇯🇵 Japan / Akita
.

It's as if the town was frozen in time.

Kakunodate, known as the "Little Kyoto of Michinoku"

Within a compact radius of about 2km, there are many ancient buildings, including samurai residences with impressive black-painted walls🏘

Cherry blossoms, fresh greenery, autumn leaves, snowy scenery... each season has its own atmosphere, but it is especially famous as a cherry blossom spot, and it is said to be crowded with many people in late April...🌸🌿🍁❄️

The snow-covered postbox was also cute📮☃️

I'd like to come back in a different season🥳

The last photo is the Hinai Jidori Oyakodon, said to be the ultimate oyakodon I ate in Kakunodate! 🍳
It was delicious🤤🤤
