🏠 Retro Samurai Village

This area is an old town from the Edo period, with over 80 samurai families living there. Walking here is like going back in time. Super chill!

🌸 Beautiful cherry blossoms lined up all year round.

From late April to early May, the weeping cherry blossoms bloom into a tunnel of pink and black stripes of the ancient wooden fence. The reflection along the river adds to the beauty – there are over 400 trees! ()

🏯 Samurai houses open for viewing

Six samurai houses are open for viewing, such as the Aoyagi House and Ishiguro House. There are armor, samurai equipment, and English text to help explain. Make the samurai life clearer

🚶♂️ Easy to travel and walk

From JR Kakunodate Station, it's only a 15-20 minute walk. Or if you want to rent a kimono or take a rickshaw, it will add more fun.

🎨 The atmosphere changes with the seasons.

In autumn, you can see the red maple leaves. The front of the trees is very beautiful. In winter, snow falls, making the atmosphere like a Japanese painting. ()

🛍 Plus nearby check-in points
• At Hinokinai River, along the river nearby, there is a 2 km long cherry blossom tunnel.
• There are small museums such as Denshokan and Kabazaiku woodcraft. You should definitely stop by.

✅ Summary
• Retro feel + beautiful cherry blossoms + peaceful atmosphere = great
• Suitable for photography lovers, couples, or people walking alone.
• It is recommended to come in the morning or late April. It's the best!
