Sendai Station, Sendai Beef Tongue, and Sendai Edamame Milkshake

Arriving in Sendai from Hanamaki was like stepping from the countryside into the big city. Unlike Hanamaki's relaxed atmosphere, Sendai is filled with vibrant shops attracting tourists. On our first day, we tried Sendai beef tongue and edamame milkshakes.
The thick cut of Sendai beef tongue is a must; it's juicy and delicious. There's even a beef tongue street right under the JR station.
The edamame milkshake was surprisingly delicious, though a bit sweet.
It has the bustle of Tokyo and Osaka, but without the tourists. I love it and would love to come back again if I have the chance! 👍
