This authentic astro-museum in Sendai brings you closer to the universe through a planetarium, exhibits, and experiences. Inside, you'll find the large "Hitomi Telescope," a newly renovated planetarium, and plenty of interactive exhibits that children can enjoy. Located close to Akiu Onsen, it's also a great stop for a drive or family trip.

Weekdays: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Last Entry: 4:30 PM)
Saturdays: 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM (Exhibition Room: Closed until 5:00 PM)
Closed Wednesdays and the third Tuesday of each month (or the following day if a public holiday falls on one of those days)
