While the Seongsan Sunrise Peak Observatory looks daunting, the trail system is incredibly well-maintained with wooden decks and stairs, making the climb accessible to most fitness levels. It’s an easy route to follow and takes less than an hour round-trip, depending on your pace. For those who can't or prefer not to make the full ascent, the lower trails and the vast surrounding field still offer spectacular views of the cone itself and the surrounding coastline, ensuring everyone can appreciate the scenery.
