If you want to experience the traditional aesthetics of Seoul, then you absolutely have to visit Bukchon Hanok Village!
Bukchon Hanok Village is located near Anguk Station, about a 5-10 minute walk from the station.
Maps and signs are available along the way and at the information center, showing several scenic spots.
Although most of the hanok have been renovated, they are still worth a visit.
Because Bukchon Hanok Village is a popular tourist attraction, it's very popular.
It's recommended to avoid holidays and go early!
Crowds are generally smaller between 7 and 9 p.m., but midday and afternoon are very crowded, making photography more difficult.
Alternatively, you can walk to the more secluded alleys, where you can still take photos (but the views won't be as great).
In short, if you want to experience traditional aesthetics in the city center, you absolutely have to visit Bukchon Hanok Village!
