Korea 🇰🇷 Gwangjang Market 💕 A traditional market with over 100 years of history, it is lined with a wide variety of Korean food and miscellaneous goods ✨ It was my first visit to Gwangjang Market, so I was excited as I was strolling down Umaimono Street when I discovered a restaurant where I could eat yukhoe and octopus, but there was a long line, so I gave up and just wandered around, and then I discovered an octopus swimming in an aquarium 👀 However, the inside and outside tables were full, and I was wondering what to do, when the staff asked me if it was okay to sit outside, and they quickly brought out a new table and chairs for me, so I was able to enter the restaurant safely. 📍Spot name: 성우육회【SUNG WOO YUK HOE】This time I ordered: • Octopus (Sannakji) 💰 Price: 15,000 won • Yukhoe 💰 Price: 15,000 won • Ramen 💰 Price: 5,000 won • Bottled beer 💰 Price: 5,000 won x 2 • SOJU 💰 Price: 4,000 won x 2. It was my first time to eat live octopus, but it was so fresh and elastic, and the salt and sesame oil sauce brought out the octopus's flavor even more, so it was shockingly delicious 🤩 The octopus escaped from the plate a few times, so it was a little difficult to eat 🤣 But it was really delicious 😍 The yukhoe was also very fresh, so it had no smell at all and was a dish that went well with alcohol 🍺 The ramen was consistently delicious ✨ And the price was also shocking, it was just over ¥5000 for four people to eat and drink ✨ It's too cheap 😱 There is a menu in Japanese, so we had no trouble ordering. The staff were all very friendly and kind. To be honest, it was such a wonderful restaurant that I don't really want to tell anyone about it 💕 Gwangjang Market is located right next to Jongno 5-ga Station on Subway Line 1. It is also easy to access from Myeongdong, about 15 minutes by subway. The restaurant was very lively, and the atmosphere of everyone drinking together outside the restaurant was really fun and comfortable. If I go to Korea again, I definitely want to visit this restaurant.
