A hidden gem even better than Gyeongbokgung Palace ⭕ Palace of the Joseon Dynasty
□ Changdeokgung Palace 창덕궁
📍 Anguk, Seoul, Korea
About a 6-minute walk from Anguk Station on Line 3.
Changdeokgung Palace is home to the palaces and gardens of the Joseon Dynasty, and is a site of historical Korean architecture. It is a very valuable building that is also registered as a UNESCO cultural heritage site. The admission fee is 3,000w.
When you pass through the Injeongmun Gate, you will see Injeongjeon Hall right in front of you.
It is a very large building, and is impressive and well worth seeing.
The grounds are very large, so if you don't have much time, try just visiting Injeongjeon Hall.
The nearby gift shop has many souvenirs that are typical of Korea, as well as items from Changdeokgung Palace, so be sure to stop by!
Gyeongbokgung Palace is famous in Korea, but there were relatively few tourists here, so it is also recommended to take nice photos wearing a hanbok.
