Winter Dobongsan

❄️ After a snowfall, I visited Dobongsan in winter. From the moment I arrived at Dobongsan Station early in the morning, the air was crisp and clear. The walk to the trailhead was quiet and peaceful.

The mountain paths were blanketed with snow, and every tree was adorned with snow blossoms, creating a truly impressive landscape. The trail was more slippery than usual, so I wore crampons and walked slowly. Apart from the sound of footsteps, it was silent, giving me the feeling of being completely immersed in nature.🍁

🦋 As I passed the midsection of the trail, I started to sweat, but the cold wind made it necessary to adjust my clothing. Near the summit, the rocky sections were particularly slippery, so I moved cautiously. Upon reaching the top, I was greeted by a panoramic view of Seoul covered in white, and the faint winter sunlight made the scenery feel even more serene.

After taking a short break and sipping warm water, I began my descent. The downhill path was also slippery, so I slowed my pace and occasionally stopped to admire the snow-covered scenery.🌳

🔮 Overall, it was a quiet and tranquil hike, perfect for appreciating the stillness and beauty of the winter mountains. With the right gear and clothing, winter hiking can be thoroughly enjoyable.
