Seoul|Han River ramen-eating scene returns with fried chicken and café

After delays in construction, the beloved ramen-eating spot by the Han River has finally returned to Yeouido during the scorching summer. Although the Han River Park is still under construction, one of the two floating platforms has opened, featuring a building connected to the Han River bus. The original 7-11 has been replaced by CU, BBQ Chicken has moved in on the second floor, and Starbucks occupies the third floor.

Thanks to the influence of K-dramas, picnicking by the Han River, eating ramen, ordering fried chicken, or grabbing skewers from street vendors has become a cherished activity for couples sharing heartfelt conversations and friends gathering to create lasting memories.

Ramen comes with a cooking bowl, priced slightly higher than regular convenience stores. Outside, there are six self-service ramen cooking machines. On the second floor, BBQ Chicken has limited seating, requiring at least a 30-minute wait to get a table before ordering. The upside is enjoying fried chicken and beer in air-conditioned comfort while saying hello to the Han River bus cruise. The area also features a mini ramen photo wall, making the ramen-eating experience both romantic and upscale.

On the third floor, Starbucks offers more seating, but spots with views of the Han River are highly sought after. As evening approaches, the Han River area becomes cooler, making it perfect for picnics on the park's grass or seating areas. The gentle evening breeze adds to the comfort and romance of the experience.

📍Address: 85-6 Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo District, Seoul, South Korea
