Two Charms to Enjoy in Yongsan: Yongsan Family Park & Yongsan Park

If you're looking for a place to take a break in the heart of Seoul, I highly recommend visiting Yongsan Family Park and Yongsan Park (partially open area) 😊

Yongsan Family Park 🌳
First, Yongsan Family Park is a great spot for a leisurely stroll. With its grassy lawns and relaxed atmosphere, it's also a popular location for wedding photo shoots. When I visited, I saw two couples taking their wedding photos, which speaks to the park's beautiful ambiance.

Yongsan Park (Partially Open Area) 🏠
About a 10–15 minute walk from the Family Park, you'll find Yongsan Park (partially open area). This space includes some of the former U.S. military housing that has been opened to the public. While you can't access the buildings still in use as residences, the open area features rows of red-brick houses, creating a unique atmosphere that feels both Korean and American. There are plenty of photo spots, making it a great place for photography. Plus, the entrance is conveniently located right near Seobinggo Station, making it easily accessible!

Close Yet Far 🚶♀️
Yongsan Family Park and Yongsan Park are about a 10–15 minute walk apart, making them close enough to visit together but far enough to enjoy a pleasant stroll. Each park has its own distinct charm, so visiting both in one day will make for a fulfilling experience 💚
