I've been wanting to go to Gyeongbokgung Palace for a while!
It's a place where you can get up close and personal with the palace buildings you often see in Korean dramas while learning about their history. 😊
Admission is 3,000 won, and Japanese radio guides are available for rental (for a fee).
Entry opens at 9:00 AM, but tickets also go on sale at 9:00 AM, so even if you arrive early, you might have to wait at the entrance. 💦💦
This time, I went first thing in the morning, so there were fewer tourists and I was able to explore the area at my own pace and take photos. I recommend going first thing on a weekday morning. ✨
While you can walk there from Seoul Station, I recommend taking the subway or bus. 🤔
There are apparently local tours available, so if you're interested, be sure to join one. 😊
