[Silladang Ikseon] Enjoying music and sweets in a mother-of-pearl-covered room, a special Hanok cafe✨

I stumbled upon "Silladang Ikseon" while walking through Ikseon-dong, and it immediately caught my eye.
The luxurious tile-roofed interior and well-maintained garden immediately greeted me, making me feel as if I were sitting in a traditional hanok garden.✨

The biggest draw here is the traditional desserts, which you won't find at other cafes.
A table full of Korean desserts like jeonggwa (Korean sweets), gangjeong (Korean rice cake), cheong (Korean rice cake), juak (Korean rice cake), Silla bread (Korean rice cake), and yakgwa (Korean sweets) are presented. These are not simply traditional, but are reinterpreted with a modern twist, creating a truly unique and special experience.

The taste is a given, but the presentation is so beautiful that I couldn't help but take out my camera. Each dessert was presented with such meticulous care, like a work of art, that I couldn't help but enjoy it before I even tasted it. The sweet yet subtle flavor of juak and the savory gangjeong paired perfectly with a cup of warm tea.

The calming atmosphere makes it a great place to take a break from the bustling atmosphere of the Ikseon-dong alleys. If you're looking for a dessert that harmonizes traditional and modern aesthetics, "Silladang" is the place to go. I confidently recommend "Ikseon" as a must-visit.
