Seoul Ikseon-dong Delicious and warm rice restaurant Seongam Ongpan

#0YenTravel2025Autumn
A wonderful restaurant in Ikseon-dong, Seoul
Songam Ongpan (송암온반)

The warm rice was labeled "gomtang" (rice soup).
There was also a delicious explanation of how to eat it.

…………………
Made with only the hind leg meat of Jeju Berkshire Black pigs, rich in meaty flavor, and the fore leg meat of premium grade 1 female pigs, the meat and soup were simmered at the highest temperature and time possible, and then carefully reduced barley rice was added.
How to Enjoy It
1. First, scoop up the soup and savor the rich, meaty flavor.
2. Take a piece of meat and enjoy it with our special salted shrimp.
3. Mix salted shrimp, green onions, and pepper into the soup to taste.

…………………

The restaurant's atmosphere was wonderful, with a courtyard pond featuring koi carp, a waterwheel, and a fountain.
It's beautiful and upscale, yet also has a tranquil feel.

The food was delicious, the interior was lovely, and despite its location in Ikseon-dong, the prices were reasonable.
Solo travelers are also welcome.
