During my recent trip to Seoul, I had the pleasure of dining at Mutan COEX Branch, a premium Chinese restaurant located on the B1 floor of COEX. Mutan offers a wide variety of Chinese dishes, including meals and other delicacies. While Mutan has several branches in Seoul, I chose to visit the COEX branch after shopping at COEX.

I arrived just as lunch service began, and it quickly became evident how popular the place was, as there was a waiting line shortly after we were seated. I ordered the Beef Truffle Jajangmyeon and Caviar Menbosha, which cost 84,000 KRW. Although the price is on the higher side, the use of premium ingredients made it worth the cost. The portions were generous, and the two of us were fully satisfied with our meal.

The Beef Truffle Jajangmyeon was delightful, with thinly sliced truffle on top that filled my mouth with its rich aroma. The noodles were chewy, and the beef steak on top was moist and tender. Additionally, you can request their house-made green onion kimchi, which pairs perfectly with the jajangmyeon. The Caviar Menbosha, topped with luxurious caviar, was a perfect combination of salty caviar and crispy yet moist menbosha.
