Sky Suite Lounge @ KLIA (Terminal 1)
Atmosphere:
This is a medium-sized lounge located on the Main Terminal side (KLIA1) on the Mezzanine floor (just a short escalator ride from the Duty Free zone).
The atmosphere is simple, not overly luxurious, but clean, bright, and comfortable. There are sofas to choose from, both dining tables or soft sofa corners.
Food & Drinks:
• Hot food: rice, fried noodles, soup, light dim sum
• Desserts: cakes, fruits
• Drinks: soft drinks, tea, fresh coffee, fruit juices
• Alcoholic drinks: available upon request at the counter (may or may not be available at certain times)
Overall, the food is decent, not as grand as airline lounges but enough to fill you up while waiting for your flight.
Other Services:
• Free Wi-Fi, quite fast
• Power outlets available at almost every table
• Restrooms & showers inside the lounge, clean
• Quiet corners available for those who want to work on their laptops
Who can enter:
• Use participating credit cards (mostly premium cards)
• Or buy entry at the counter for about RM138-158 (around 1,100-1,300 THB)
• Special rates for young children
Pros:
✅ Open 24 hours
✅ Convenient location inside the main terminal, no need to go outside
✅ Comfortable for waiting for late-night flights
Cons:
❌ Ordinary food, not very diverse, average taste
❌ Can be noisy during peak times, not as quiet as airline lounges
❌ Limited alcoholic drinks, must ask, may not be available at times
❌ Expensive if not using a credit card (about 1,100–1,300 THB)
