🌿 A Hike Through History – Gunung Berembun & the WWII Plane Crash Site 🛩️

Gunung Berembun in Negeri Sembilan isn’t just another mountain—it’s a trail that takes you deep into nature and even deeper into the past. Over the weekend, I hiked this beautiful yet challenging trail and discovered one of the most hauntingly memorable sites I’ve ever seen: the crash site of a World War II airplane.

The journey began with a peaceful trek through the rainforest, passing by rivers and the stunning Lata Berembun waterfall. The trail gradually turned steeper, with ropes to assist the climb. After reaching the summit, we continued along a ridge trail, and about an hour later, the jungle opened up to reveal what remained of the WW2 aircraft—rusted engines, scattered propellers, and torn fuselage parts silently lying among the trees.
