The most Jiangnan-style ancient town in Shanghai - Zhujiajiao🌺

🏞️Zhujiajiao is the most well-preserved ancient water town in Shanghai, and has also been selected as "one of the 50 most worthy places for tourists to visit in China".

Therefore, we specially arranged for the last stop of this trip to go to Guangfulin and Zhujiajiao. There are many small shops in the alleys of Zhujiajiao, including local snacks and handicraft shops. As for the small bridge, there are many restaurants and cafes on both sides of the river. It is very pleasant to enjoy the scenery of the river bank while dining, and it is also very Jiangnan water town style. There are small bridges, flowing water, and fishing boats. You can enjoy the picturesque scenery of the water town💕

There is no need for tickets here, unless you are going to a special attraction, you can choose a spot ticket or a package ticket.

It was still raining that day, making it even more like the misty and rainy Jiangnan mentioned in the book. Although it was raining, we still wanted to go on a boat trip. We happened to have five people in a boat and visited Fangsheng Bridge, Chenghuang Temple, and the Qing Post Office. Then we found a coffee shop or teahouse to sit in. There are coffee shops along Caohe Street, and there are pets to accompany us. Or have a cup of tea at the historic Grandma Tea House and experience the Jiangnan style🌺

There are also many local snacks in the small shops along the road, such as fermented glutinous rice cakes, candied haws, Yunyang Shaobing, and grandma’s meat rice dumplings. You can taste the local snacks😋
