After searching around, we found the nearest Chongming
Unexpectedly, we had a pleasant surprise
The kids had a wonderful two days and one night

I really like the overall design style of the hotel
Chinese style, fresh and clean
What I like even more are the rich activities
(Not sure if these activities are available on regular days)
Plaster painting, dough figurines, aluminum wire modeling, clown balloon twisting, making dumplings, making cupcakes, doll graffiti, bonfire sparklers...
The kids played with everything
And there's a Hyatt Academy on the basement floor
You can watch plays, play billiards, table football, table tennis, chess...
There's even a KTV room and a chess and card room
It's perfect for passing the time

There's a horse farm next to the hotel
The kids experienced horse riding
The fee is 400 yuan/half hour
If there are two kids
Each can experience 15 minutes
There's a pony
You can lead it around
Walking the pony is free
But it's only available for 45 minutes a day

The hotel pool temperature is around 29 degrees
There are two pools, one big and one small
Suitable for children of different ages

The twin room can combine the two beds
Convenient for the kids to roll around
There's also a swing on the balcony
The kids love playing on it

The seaside is not far from the hotel
About a seven or eight-minute drive
But you can only park on Huxun Road and Yindong South Road
Then walk to the seaside
Because there are too many people
Huxun Road is already full of parked cars

The sea here has no sand
It's all mudflats
No shells
But there are crabs

Many people caught big crabs
Using a rod with a piece of meat attached to a line
Crabs would bite
Some people used long tongs
We didn't have professional tools
The plastic shovel we brought couldn't dig
So we didn't catch any big crabs
But we did pick up a lot of small crabs
In the reeds
Almost every small pit had small crabs
The kids had a great time picking them up
(We released the crabs later)

If you want to catch crabs
I suggest wearing rain boots
Bring long tongs
And check the tide schedule

This Chongming experience was very good
And the journey was shorter than expected
