Visit the newly opened Ho Tung House in the Shaanxi North Road Historic District

Shaanxi North Road is a historic road in Shanghai. There are many historical buildings and old sites in the short stretch between Xinzha Road and Beijing Road.
Some buildings are not open to the public and can only be viewed from the outside. Ho Tung's former residence is one that has been opened recently. It is a European-style building full of history, with straight Roman columns on the outside and stone exterior walls, thick and solemn. It has now been developed into an exhibition hall with art exhibitions inside.
The garden of Ho Tung's former residence is large and beautiful, and is now open to public green space. The surrounding buildings have also become commercialized. There is a cafe built according to the tree. The branches of the camphor tree have holes directly opened on the terrace. The tree grows inside the house, which is very interesting.
