Cloud Catcher uses Gabriel Rico's series "Original Woman C1" as a "guiding symbol" or "messenger" to connect a series of female artists' representations of gendered motifs such as flowers through the imagery of halos and clouds. The artist invites viewers to reflect on the complexity of the sense of belonging and communication that humans have constructed in a rapidly changing world.
