📍 Nanxiang Ancient Town, one of the four major ancient towns of Shanghai, named after a temple. The White Crane Nanxiang Temple was built here in the 4th year of the Liang Tianjian era, marking over 1,500 years of history.
🎫 Tickets: Free entry to the town. Admission to Tan Garden is 18 RMB per person.
🏮Must-Visit Attractions:

🔹Liuyun Zen Temple: An ancient temple dating back to the Southern Dynasties (505 AD). The current buildings are later reconstructions. The town's name originated from this temple. Visitors can get three free incense sticks.
🔹Tan Garden: A private garden of Ming Dynasty literati Li Liufang, also reconstructed. The garden is small but currently offers free entry (originally 22 RMB), though it can get crowded.
