For those looking for a free cherry blossom viewing spot not far from Shanghai with easy access, we recommend the Shanghai Natural History Museum.
This area has a variety of cherry blossom species, and at the end of March, the cherry blossom arch at the front entrance is in full bloom, perfect for taking photos.
There are staff on site to maintain order and prevent people from pulling or bending the branches.
But if you’ve finished taking photos at the front, walk into the area on the right side of the museum, and you can still find many cherry blossom trees along the walkway.
This spot is definitely a delightful place to stop and enjoy the cherry blossoms.
