Wat Suan Dok is located in Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai Province.
The large Buddha image is enshrined on the throne of the ordination hall of Wat Buppharam Suan Dok. The reputation of its miraculous powers is well-known in all directions. The Chiang Mai King's Shrine at Wat Suan Dok is where the ashes of the first king to the last are enshrined, relatives of the Na Chiang Mai family, and descendants of the seven kings are enshrined.
