The China Art Museum, a must-visit spot in Shanghai for art & culture buffs.

My local friend recommended me to visit the China Art Museum which located in Pudong New Area, Shanghai. This art museum is housed in the iconic China Pavilion from the 2010 World Expo, featuring traditional "Oriental Crown" design with dougong brackets. I'm extremely loved its unique, grandeur and striking outlook.
The museum focuses on modern Chinese art, including works by renowned artists. The admission is FREE, but for the highlighted exhibition like multimedia displays 《清明上河图》 ("Along the River During the Qingming Festival", a very famous Chinese painting), need some fee but just cost RMB 20, and it's definitely worth it. The exhibition consists of 12 projectors, but it's like you're watching one huge screen (128 meters in length and 6.5 meters in height ). The artwork has characters and animals in a day and night cycle, so lively.
🕰️ The China Art Museum is open daily from Tuesday - Sunday (10 am - 6 pm, last entry at 5 pm); and it closed on Monday.
▶️ 🚉 Easily reachable via Metro Line 7 (Yaohua Road Station) or Line 8 (China Art Museum Station).
📍1205 Shangnan Rd, 周家渡 Pudong, Shanghai, China, 200010.
