Today, a short review for those who love strolling and chilling~ I was walking around West Nanjing Road with no plans at all and accidentally found this place called Mulino Alimentary. It’s a homemade Italian 🇮🇹 restaurant famous for its pasta, but I wasn’t here for pasta today! Today was all about sweets! In front of the store, there’s a section selling premium baked goods, bread, and croissants 🥨. The moment I saw it, I walked right in without thinking twice. The aroma of the baked goods was so tempting—like butter and nuts mixed together in the best way.
What I bought today was… 🥐 Pistachio Croissant!!!
It’s amazing! Inside is a rich pistachio cream filling, not too sweet. The crust is crispy outside and soft inside, with a strong buttery aroma. Eating it warm is pure bliss that makes you want to scream inside (I really wanted to but was considerate of others around me, haha). If you love pistachio, you shouldn’t miss this! I warn you! 💚✨
Atmosphere:
The store is beautiful, clean, and has a slight European vibe. In front, there’s a display case full of tempting treats—croissants, bread 🥖, various baked goods, and also fresh pasta, cheese, and wine 🍷 to choose from. But today, I was focused only on sweets!
📍 How to get there:
🚄 Get off at Nanjing West Road Station (Line 2 or Line 13), then walk about 7-10 minutes. Just stroll along; the store is in a slightly quiet area, not inside a mall. Use Google Maps or Baidu Map and type “Mulino Alimentary Shanghai” to find it easily.
🕒 Opening hours:
Open daily from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM. I recommend going in the afternoon when the pastries are still fresh and it’s not crowded.
Summary:
If you like walking around West Nanjing Road and want to find delicious European-style pastries, I highly recommend stopping by here. You don’t even have to sit down to enjoy it—just hold a warm croissant and walk while chewing, and you’ll feel great 🥐❤️✨
