A Relaxing Time Above the Clouds — My Stay Experience at Shanghai Jin Mao Hyatt Hotel

I have always looked forward to staying at the Shanghai Jin Mao Hyatt Hotel, and this time I finally had the chance to experience the unique charm of this five-star hotel.

Stepping into the hotel lobby, the Art Deco design immediately caught my eye, blending luxury and elegance. The elevator from the lobby to the guest rooms was very fast, instantly taking me up to the high floors. The design inside the room was even more distinctive; the golden Tang poetry on the headboard added a rich cultural atmosphere, allowing one to feel a unique charm in the fusion of modern and traditional elements.

The room’s facilities were top-notch, with a touch control panel that was easy to operate, allowing me to adjust various devices comfortably from the bed. The oversized LCD TV, connected to a wealth of multimedia content, provided an audiovisual feast even during rest. The bathroom design was very thoughtful, with a dry and wet separation. Especially notable was the shower tower equipped with multiple nozzles, making showering a true pleasure. Through the window beside the bathtub, I could also enjoy the enchanting night view of Shanghai, which was truly refreshing.

The hotel’s dining was another highlight. The Eat at 56 all-day dining restaurant offered a rich variety of delicious food, from exquisite pastries at breakfast to sumptuous dishes for lunch and dinner, all mouthwatering. The Cantonese cuisine at Yue Zhen Xuan was delicate and tasty, and the fresh sashimi and sushi at Ri Zhen Japanese Restaurant were highly praised. The Jiuchongtian Lounge was a great place to relax, where I could enjoy fine wine while admiring the bustling night view of Shanghai — an extremely pleasant experience.

The hotel’s leisure and entertainment facilities were also very comprehensive. The Oasis Fitness Center on the 57th floor is renowned as “the highest fitness club in the world.” Here, not only can you engage in various fitness activities, but you can also relax in the spacious and luxurious spa facilities. The floor-to-ceiling glass windows of the heated swimming pool allowed me to enjoy the beautiful scenery outside while swimming.

The service at Shanghai Jin Mao Hyatt Hotel also left a deep impression on me. From check-in to check-out, every staff member was warm and attentive, making me feel truly at home. Whether it was the front desk reception or the restaurant staff, they all demonstrated professionalism and courtesy.
