Great time in Shanghai! Seriously, this city never gets old—my second trip here, and I still found myself totally blown away by the energy and non-stop action. 😍 If you’re all about epic sightseeing, foodie adventures, AND hitting your daily steps, Shanghai is where it’s at. From glowing city lights to ancient gardens, every corner has something wild to offer.
One spot you absolutely can’t miss is the iconic Yu Garden (豫园). Wrapped in stunning traditional vibes, Yu Garden sits at the heart of the old city—think curved bridges, ornate pavilions, and tranquil koi ponds, all with a sprinkle of classic Shanghai charm. Located at the Shanghai Yuyuan Tourism Business District (find the main entrance on the north side of the Huxin Pavilion Jiuqu Bridge), it’s open Tuesday-Sunday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM (last entry at 4:00 PM, keep that in mind!), closed on Mondays. Admission is just ¥40—a steal for Insta-worthy scenery! 📸✨
And let’s talk survival tips: don’t bother with heavy cash! Everything, legit EVERYTHING, is done by WeChat Pay or Alipay. Perfect chance to flex your digital wallet skills—just make sure your cards are linked up on your phone before you land. Lifesaver for everything from snack stalls to cool shops! 💸📱
Whether you’re a culture hunter, foodie, or selfie king/queen, Shanghai is loaded with jaw-dropping spots and unforgettable eats. 10/10 recommend adding this legend of a city to your travel hit list. nghai #travel #china n #nightlights
