Located in the Xujiahui area of the Shanghai Diocese, St. Ignatius Cathedral is a stunning sight both inside and out. From the lush greenery surrounding the church, the grand entrance gates, to the intricate architecture within, the cathedral exudes a European charm and is a perfect spot for photography.

No reservation is required for visits, but do pay attention to the opening hours. If you have luggage, you can store it for free at the gate. Additionally, please dress modestly; women wearing tank tops may be asked by staff to cover up with a jacket. Proper attire is recommended to maintain the solemn atmosphere.

After visiting the cathedral, you can explore the nearby shopping mall "Grand Gateway 66" for some shopping and dining.
