Yu Yuan garden is a tourist spot in Shanghai. It allows you to see the old style buildings that you might imagine China to look like. It has lots of ornate rooftops, little shops selling knick knacks and it is a nice photo spot.
The garden is legitimately beautiful and quite impressive in its scale. There are numerous ponds and bridges to wander, plus rotating exhibitions featuring things like bonsai trees or Chinese landscape painting. It’s a few hours sorted and a great stop if you have visitors i town.
I personally think it's better to go at night when the lanterns are lit up and the buildings look better.
