Introducing Maojin Ancient Capital

Located in Huixing Town, Hubin District, Sanmenxia City, the Maojin Ancient Capital Ferry served as a crucial gateway for Shanxi to enter and exit the Central Plains. It forms the watershed dividing the Yellow River north and south. It's said that the 3,000-year history of Shaanxi lies in Shaanxi, and the 5,000-year history of Shanxi lies in Shanxi. Many historical events took place here, including the Yu-Guo attack on Guo, the loss of lips and teeth, the 30-year cycle of prosperity, Fu Yue's printing press, Dayu's flood control, Sima Guang's smashing of jars, and the story of The West Chamber, Puji Temple, and the Stork Tower.

In addition to its rich cultural heritage, the area also has beautiful scenery. You can see the Yellow River at the ancient ferry, play with carp in the summer, and get close to swans in the winter. The people here are also very simple, kind, and hospitable.
