Lingshan Mountain, Shangrao, Jiangxi

Lingshan Mountain in Shangrao, Jiangxi, is definitely a hidden gem for check-ins! Although it is not as famous as Huangshan or Sanqingshan, it boasts 72 peaks, with the main peak reaching an elevation of 1,496 meters. Famous figures like Wang Anshi and Xin Qiji have left beautiful works about it, and it is a sacred site for both Taoism and Buddhism.
It takes about half an hour by taxi from Shangrao Station to the scenic area, and parking is free for self-driving visitors. There are two hiking routes, 985 and 211; the 985 route is steeper with more steps but offers spectacular views. I took the 985 loop, and it took 5 to 6 hours including photography and hiking. Along the way, the sky mirror is stunningly beautiful, and the Holy Mother of Lingshan kindly embraces the "dragon vein." Hiking enthusiasts should not miss this "Sleeping Beauty"-like Lingshan!
