1️⃣ Shangrao Lingshan Scenic Area

I was amazed by the strange rock formations here! I suggest going in the morning when there are fewer people and it's better for photos. Remember to wear sneakers as there are many mountain paths, but the scenery is definitely worth it.

2️⃣ Wunvzhou Resort Area
Address: No. 8 Wengong North Road, Wuyuan County, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province
Ticket: 110 RMB
Be sure to wait until night! The light show and fireworks are stunning. I recommend staying inside the scenic area; after the show, you can conveniently return to the hotel.

3️⃣ Huangling Scenic Area, Wuyuan

Make sure to choose a sunny day. The autumn drying scenery is like a blockbuster in every shot! The pumpkin piles are perfect for photos. Remember to wear bright-colored clothes for better pictures.

Why didn’t I mention Wangxiangu? Because it’s too exhausting, really too exhausting. Personally, I don’t think it’s that beautiful. For me, it’s the kind of place you regret not going, but regret even more if you do. The accommodation is also very expensive. The night before going to Lingshan, I stayed at Xinshui Manlicheng Hotel near Shangrao Wuyue Plaza. The hotel is very new, the lobby is stylish, and the mattress is super comfortable. Highly recommend it.

🍲 Food recommendations
You must try the local dishes at the restaurant at the foot of Lingshan. I recommend stone ear mushroom stewed chicken and wild vegetable scrambled eggs. Wuyuan’s local lotus leaf red carp and steamed rice cakes are also delicious!

1. Bring a telephoto lens to Huangling for stunning panoramic shots of the autumn drying scenery.
2. Wunvzhou fireworks shows have more sessions on weekends, so check the schedule in advance.
3. October to November is the most beautiful season in Wuyuan, but also the busiest.
