TIGER AWESOME GORGES

My girlfriend and I hiked the Tiger Leaping Gorge over two days and had an amazing time. We met another French traveler along the way and spent the night at the Halfway Guest House — which totally lives up to the hype! The view from the guesthouse (and all along the trail) is absolutely breathtaking, even with the rain on the second day.

Unfortunately, the lower trail down to the river was closed on the second day, so we couldn’t descend all the way to the bottom of the gorge. But the hike was still more than worth it. Peaceful, wild, and epic — one of the highlights of our trip in China!
