Family, who spilled Shangri-La’s palette and turned this place into a fairy tale!✨ Before going, I made a super detailed guide, and now I’m sharing it with you all so you can easily have a dreamy trip~

📍 Pudacuo National Park: God’s Oil Painting Book

Every step here is a new scene. Shudu Lake looks like a huge sapphire, reflecting the golden trees on the shore 🌳, it feels like stepping into a Monet painting! Stroll along the 3 km lakeside boardwalk and you might meet cute little squirrels 🐿️ begging for food, super healing~

📍 Napahai Yila Grassland: Half Lake, Half Grassland

In the rainy season it’s a lake, in the dry season it’s a grassland—this magical scene can only be seen at Napahai! We toured along the route “Ring Lake Road - Hamu Valley - Alpine Villa - Bantu’erfei - Alpine Botanical Garden - Dari,” got up close with yaks and lambs in Hamu Valley, and overlooked the entire Napahai from the Alpine Botanical Garden—so beautiful it left me speechless!

📍 Songzanlin Monastery: Little Potala Palace
Ticket 🎫: 55 RMB (buy on site, don’t waste money on online combo tickets)
Opening Hours 🕙: 08:00-18:00
This is the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan, truly breathtaking! The golden roof shines under the sun, red walls against blue sky and white clouds, full of Tibetan style. Put on Tibetan clothes for photos, every shot can be a wallpaper 📸

📍 Dukezong Ancient Town: Millennium Tea Horse Road Hub
Ticket 🎫: Free
Opening Hours 🕙: Open all day
The world’s largest prayer wheel is here, it takes several people to turn it, and it’s said that turning it three times brings blessings and good luck 🍀 At night, go to Moonlight Square, join the locals in dancing the Guozhuang dance, and feel the purest joy~

💡 Travel Tips:

1. Shangri-La is at high altitude, be sure to prevent altitude sickness in advance; don’t shower or do intense exercise right after arrival
2. UV rays are very strong, don’t forget sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat
3. Attractions are far apart, it’s recommended to rent a car or hire a driver for convenient independent travel
4. Respect local religious beliefs and customs, for example, turn the prayer wheel clockwise

Dear friends, don’t just envy others through the screen, pack your bags and set off to encounter the dreamy colors of Shangri-La~
