Zheng Guo Old Street

#chinatravel Wandered through Zheng Guo Old Street in Shaanxi Province and it was such a cool little experience. It’s one of those places where every corner feels like a scene from a historical drama. The buildings are old school with wooden signs and red lanterns everywhere. Super aesthetic and kind of peaceful too.

There were so many random snack stalls and I basically ate my way through the whole street. Tried some fried dough twist thing, grabbed a hot bowl of noodles, and washed it down with this sweet herbal tea I didn’t even know I needed.

Shops had all kinds of handmade stuff, from fans and calligraphy to little trinkets you didn’t think you’d buy but end up walking away with anyway. The locals were really friendly too, always smiling and chatting.

It’s not a huge spot, but that’s what makes it nice. Super walkable, very chill. If you’re into culture, snacks, and casual wandering, Zheng Guo Old Street is definitely worth a visit.
