A Leisurely Seaside Vacation | Archiving the Joy of Summer

Went to The Westin in Wanning with my teammates,
and have been thinking about it ever since~
Two years later,
this time I brought the kids to The Westin in Lingshui.
Still as satisfying as ever,
even more suitable for a laid-back style of parenting than I imagined.

The hotel boasts a prime ocean view of Clearwater Bay,
with a vast stretch of fine soft sand right outside the door.
The sea breeze gently sways the coconut shadows.
Opening the window reveals an infinity pool facing the sea.
Even the little one was leaning by the window exclaiming: Wow, so beautiful~

The hotel’s family-friendly activities are surprisingly abundant.
The outdoor pool provides free swim rings for kids,
and the little one had a blast playing.
The exclusive children's playground is safe and fun, freeing up parents’ hands.
There are different craft classes every day.

In the evening, we strolled along the coastline,
watching the sunset dye the sky pink and gold.
The little one collected shells on the beach,
while we relaxed on the lounge chairs—this is the pace a vacation should have.
Two dinners were at the hotel’s Western restaurant and noodle house,
worthy of a five-star hotel’s standard.
The kid-friendly set meals and coconut chicken hotpot,
all ingredients fresh and flavors excellent.

No rushing to attractions, no hectic travel,
this is probably the ideal image of a family vacation.
Let the days swell slowly like a sail—no rushing the journey, only chasing the waves;
store the joy of the sea as an everlasting echo inside a shell.
