Shaoxing Keyan|Avoid the Crowds for a Super Enjoyable Experience

Walking the right route in Keyan really avoids the crowds! Upon entering the park, first bypass the main road and head towards Jingshui Bay, where you can catch a mini black-awning boat experience. When passing through the narrow bridge hole, the boatman will leisurely hum Shaoxing folk tunes, and the sound of the oars rowing is super soothing. Every snapshot you take has a Jiangnan vibe~

In the core area of Keyan, besides the Tiangong Giant Buddha, don’t miss the ancient stone carvings beside Puzhao Temple! Sunlight shining on the mottled inscriptions reveals the chisel marks of old quarry workers. Touching the cool stone wall feels like touching history. Below the Qiyun Stone Bone, there is a shallow beach where you can cool off by stepping into the water in summer. The reflection of the stones in the water makes for amazing photos.

At Jian Lake, it’s recommended to get off the painted boat and walk along the ancient fiber path. The bluestone path is close to the water surface, with reeds swaying in the breeze along the shore. Occasionally, you can see small fish leaping out of the water. When tired, sit on the stone pier beside the path to rest and enjoy the lake breeze—it’s super relaxing.

📍Address: No. 558 Keyan Avenue, Keqiao District, Shaoxing City
⏰Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (Last entry at 4:00 PM)
💡Tips: Wear flat shoes! The bluestone path on the ancient fiber road is slippery when wet; on sunny days, it’s recommended to bring a sun hat.
