In Shaoxing, a water town in Jiangnan, Keyan Scenic Area is a picturesque place. The entire scenic area includes Keyan Scenic Area, Jianhu Lake, and Luzhen Town.

Stepping into Keyan, you are greeted by the 20.8-meter-tall Tian Gong Giant Buddha, a seated Maitreya statue. The Buddha was carved by three generations of stonemasons from the Sui Dynasty over a century. The entire Buddha body is carved from a single stone, with its left hand resting on its knee and its right hand raised in the "Dharma-teaching mudra," displaying a compassionate expression, as if comforting the worldly troubles. Opposite the Tian Gong Giant Buddha is Yun Gu, known as the "No. 1 Stone under Heaven." From a distance, it resembles a wisp of smoke rising into the sky, showcasing the marvels of nature with its unique form.
The ancient towpath on Jianhu Lake floats like a jade ribbon, dividing the lake into a long scroll of ink wash painting. Taking a Wupeng boat, with the boatwoman paddling with her feet, you leisurely glide forward, startling a few egrets whose wingtips brush past the reed shoots. It feels as if you are immersed in the artistic conception of Wang Xizhi's "Preface to the Poems Collected from the Orchid Pavilion," where "the sky is clear and bright, and the gentle breeze is mild and pleasant."
Luzhen Town, on the other hand, is a vivid recreation of the life scenes depicted in Lu Xun's writings. The wine jars at Xianheng Hotel are still neatly arranged. The quiet and secluded bluestone alleys, with old shops scattered in an orderly fashion, exude a rich historical and cultural charm.
