How to spend three days and two nights in Shennongjia

Day 1: Arrived at Xingshan Station by high-speed train around noon. The homestay owner was already waiting at the station entrance. It took about an hour to drive from Xingshan to Muyu 🚗. On the way, we visited ✅ Guanmenshan, ✅ Tianshengqiao, and ✅ Shennong Altar. We saw giant pandas, cliffside beehives, Chinese giant salamanders, and the Shennong statue 🗿. Afterward, we headed straight to the homestay.

🏠 The homestay is located on Xiangxi Street, right next to the Muyu Tourist Center. There are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. After dinner, we went to Xiangxi River for stream tracing. There are trails along the river, and the environment is serene and cool—perfect for light sleepers. 🌠

Day 2: The homestay owner took us to Shennongding, where we visited Xiaolongtan, Jinhouling, and saw golden monkeys and the Flying Waterfall. At Shennong Valley, we were greeted by an endless sea of clouds. In the evening, we caught the sunset glow, which, combined with the sea of clouds, looked like a stunning painting.

Day 3: It rained a little in the morning, and we headed to Dajiuhu. The rain along the way made Shennongding look like a fairyland. Surprisingly, the weather cleared up when we arrived at Dajiuhu, revealing a breathtaking scene of clouds and mist. This is the essence of Chinese aesthetics—subtle smoke and sparse rain. After returning from Dajiuhu, the homestay owner drove us back to Xingshan Station just in time to catch the train. 🚄

🗣️ When visiting Shennongjia, you can choose ✅ self-driving or ✅ renting a car. Since the journey is long, we opted for the high-speed train and rented a car. The homestay owner also offers car rental services, which saved us time and effort. With a local guide, we discovered many hidden spots ⛰️.

✅ The homestay environment is very comfortable and clean, featuring a modern and luxurious style. It is equipped with XiaoDu smart voice assistant, a dry-wet separated bathroom, and a heated toilet. Our room even had a mountain view, making it very relaxing. The homestay owner and staff were very friendly and responsive, recommending cost-effective restaurants. The overall experience was fantastic! 👌
