In the blink of an eye, another autumn has arrived. Taking advantage of this cool and pleasant season, my boyfriend and I packed our bags and set off for Shenyang, embarking on a romantic rendezvous with autumn.
Our first stop upon arriving in Shenyang was the Haoze Hotel to check in. As soon as we reached the front desk, the staff greeted us with friendly smiles, patiently verifying our information and handling the check-in process. To our surprise, during the procedure, they proactively informed us that due to recent positive feedback from guests, they had specially upgraded our room to one with a separate bathtub. Hearing this news, we were overjoyed and repeatedly thanked the staff.
Following the guide to our room, the moment we opened the door, the scene before us lifted our spirits even more. The room was spacious and bright, with ample sunlight streaming through the large windows, casting mottled shadows on the floor, making the entire space feel especially warm. The soft bed was covered with clean and tidy sheets, the nearby sofa was small and cozy, and the bathtub in the corner was pristine and exquisite. Just looking at it made us look forward to a relaxing soak in the evening. We tidied up a bit in the room, and every detail reflected the hotel’s care, instantly giving us a sense of belonging in Shenyang.
After a short rest, we set off with great anticipation for the Shenyang World Expo Garden. As soon as we stepped into the park, it felt like entering a colorful painting that instantly captured our eyes. On both sides of the path, various flowers bloomed in competition—red like fire, pink like clouds, yellow like gold, purple like silk. The multicolored flowers clustered together, gently swaying in the breeze as if waving to us. The air was filled with a faint floral fragrance, fresh and healing. Taking a deep breath, we were immersed in the scent of autumn.
Throughout the park, delicate little swings were everywhere. I grabbed my boyfriend’s hand and ran over to gently sit on one. He picked up his camera and stood nearby, patiently searching for the best angle. Facing the wind, I gently swung, my hair flying in the air, a bright smile on my face. He pressed the shutter, capturing this beautiful moment. Every photo turned out stunning, with the sea of flowers and blue sky in the background complementing me on the swing, like a scene straight out of a fairy tale.
We strolled slowly along the park’s paths, stopping now and then to admire the flower sea, then drawn to the unique buildings over there. When tired, we sat on benches by the roadside to rest, watching the happy smiles on passing visitors’ faces and listening to occasional laughter nearby, feeling completely content. Unconsciously, dusk gradually fell, and we reluctantly prepared to leave. Walking toward the park exit, we couldn’t help but look back repeatedly, wanting to take in the poetic beauty a few more times and deeply imprint it in our memories.
This day in Shenyang, accompanied by the thoughtful care of Haoze Hotel and the picturesque scenery of the World Expo Garden, was filled with beauty and surprises in every moment, making us even more excited for the journey ahead.
