Mount Yangtai Forest Park

Yangtaishan forest park or Mount Yangtai is a small mountain between Baoan, Nanshan and Longhua districts. It is a beautiful natural park and a great place for walking. There are several entrances around the park and there are different paths that snake around the park, with pavillions and rest stops placed frequently placed along its length.

The top of the mountain is 587m high so there are quite a few steps to climb to the very top. When reaching the peak you will be rewarded with a beautiful view of the forest park, you can also see a high speed rail line to the west side of the park, and the city districts in the distance. There are some large reservoir lakes and small streams and waterfalls around the park.

I highly recommend bringing water and food with you if you decide to come hiking here as there arent any shops except outside the entrances.
