Among the many exhibitions in Shenzhen Art Museum, this contemporary Chinese character art exhibition left a deep impression on me. The artists analyzed and recreated the artistry of Chinese characters through their creations, and presented them in different ways, which was novel and interesting.
✅The exhibition presents dozens of works by four artists: Wang Dongling, Xu Bing, Ren Rong and Wei Ligang. The works are displayed in different areas according to the artists.
✅The works are mainly ink on paper, involving calligraphy and painting🎨, as well as installation art and multimedia animation, etc., basically all of them are large-scale works
✅Xu Bing's "Book from the Sky", Wang Dongling's "Chaos Book", Ren Rong's "Genesis" and Wei Ligang's "The Great Fly Empire" and other works all have a very distinctive creative form of "text superimposed with personal artistic characteristics"
✅The exhibition and visiting lines in the museum are very smooth, and the large-scale art works 🌠 present a good viewing visual effect. The whole restaurant takes about 40 minutes
✅In addition, the exhibition is mainly in black and white, so it is easy for those who like to check in and take photos, such as in front of large calligraphy works, and at light and shadow installations, etc.
