Persimmon Season Begins in Gongcheng!

The best time to visit the Hongyan Village Persimmon Festival in Gongcheng is from late October to December. Specifically, the opening ceremony of the festival is on October 25th, when the persimmons are fully ripe, the scenery is at its most spectacular, and the activities are the most abundant. By the end of November, most persimmons have turned bright red, making it an excellent time for photography. The hills are covered with persimmons hanging like little lanterns, creating a picturesque scene against the white walls and black tiles of the Yao villages—perfect for taking photos.

If you wish to avoid the peak tourist season, you can visit in December or before New Year's Day. During this time, there are fewer visitors, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful scenery at a more leisurely pace.
