The new Shenzhen Art Museum is located in the Shenzhen North Station Business Center area, at the geographical center of Shenzhen City. It is an important hub for the development of the eastern coast cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The new museum has a collection of nearly 6,000 square meters, 18 art exhibition halls, and a 3,900 square meter semi-outdoor sculpture exhibition area, suitable for hosting large-scale sculpture and installation exhibitions.

The building itself is a work of art. The outer facade of the building uniformly adopts the expression form of special-shaped honeycomb stone, superimposing classic stone and honeycomb aluminum panels to form shuttle-shaped stone units, which are interspersed and woven to form the outer skin curtain wall. While maintaining a sense of solemnity, it also presents a flexible, delicate and exquisite texture. It was really shocking to see the entire cantilever platform being hoisted up.

Recently, the art museum launched three local series exhibitions, showcasing Shenzhen’s culture, history, and the creative achievements of local artists in Shenzhen. It’s worth a look!
