There is a fairy tale park hidden in Yancheng.

In Sheyang, Yancheng, there is a fairy tale castle called Sheyang Andersen Fairy Tale Park. This May Day, the park invited several good-looking "NPCs" to meet with tourists.

💰Ticket price:
If you come here on a normal weekend, it is quite cost-effective to bring your children to play here. The ticket is not expensive, CNY 115 for one adult and one child (children under 1.1 meters are free).

❤Recommended reason:
The cartoon characters with the theme of Andersen's fairy tales in the park are cute, which children like and are good for taking photos. The whole park is not very big, mainly divided into four areas: The Ugly Duckling Dreamland, which mainly has bumper cars, roller coasters, and water parks. When there are not many people, many projects in the park are enough for children to play for most of the day.

🌟Highlights:
The Emperor's New Clothes Castle: This area is great for taking photos, whether during the day or at dusk. It is also beautiful when the lights are on at night, and there are fireworks shows on holidays.

Thumbelina Jungle: The spiral jungle design allows you to enjoy the whole view of the park. It is mainly equipped with non-powered facilities, such as the Ugly Duckling trampoline, a large tree house with a huge climbing slide, a fairy tale corridor, a maze, etc. There is also a "Thumbelina" talk show here.

The Little Match Girl Ice and Snow Area: This area has a wish tower, a carousel, flying elephants, a pet house, rafting, etc., as well as an Andersen museum.

The light and shadow show in the Dream Hall is very popular with children.

There is also a cultural and creative ice cream in the park. After eating the ice cream, the children patiently waited in line for an hour to watch the Andersen version of "Soaring Over the Horizon" in the Fantasy Voyage Hall.

The most popular project in Andersen Fairy Tale Park is water rafting, which is also the amusement project with the longest queue time on holidays.

🍽Dining recommendation:
We had lunch at the Old Oak Tea Restaurant, where we ordered rice with toppings for CNY 30 each and an 8-inch pizza for CNY 48 each, which was quite cost-effective. There are many snacks in the park: chicken wings with rice, cold noodles, fried noodles, stinky tofu, fried yogurt, fried chicken, barbecue, ice cream (cultural and creative ice cream for CNY 15 each), etc., which are quite rich in variety.

📝Tips:
It is not recommended to come here on holidays, as you have to wait in line for more than an hour for each project, including the carousel and bumper cars.
