Mysterious Mount Kailash: My 9-day adventure in the magnificent Ngari, Tibet

🚗Itinerary:
Day 1: Depart from Lhasa, visit Yamdrok Lake, Karola Glacier, and Manla Reservoir, and stay overnight in Shigatse.
Day 2-3: Explore Shigatse, visit Tashilhunpo Monastery, and check in at the 5,000 km mark of National Highway 318, 108 Bends, and other places along the way, and finally arrive at Basong Village.
Day 4-5: Depart from Basong Village, pass through Saga and Zhongba, enjoy a distant view of Shishapangma, and arrive at Darchen. Visit Mount Kailash and Zanda Earth Forest, and visit the ruins of the Guge Kingdom.
Day 6-7: Return to Darchen, pass through Gongzhu Co and Maquan River Wetland Park, and then pass through Saga, explore Dagejia Geyser and several beautiful lakes, and stay overnight in Wenbu South Village.
Day 8: Pass through Wenbu North Village and continue on your journey. Along the way, you can enjoy the magnificent Sky Tree, the tranquil Co O Lake, and Selincuo, and finally arrive at Gaxiong Village.
Day 9: Visit the north shore of Namtso, including Shengxiang Tianmen, take a half-circle tour of Namtso, and finally return to Lhasa to visit the Tibet Planetarium.
