A tour of Shimoda's recommended spots, where you can feel nature and history

Take a stroll around Shimoda to feel the power of nature and the atmosphere of history.

First, head to Ryugu Sea Cave, a mysterious space created by nature. Light shines through a heart-shaped hole in the ceiling, creating a fantastic atmosphere. 😍

There's also a sand ski resort nearby! I didn't have time, but I wanted to try it...
A thrilling experience sliding down a steep slope in one go! It was also fun to watch the adults trying their best to climb up.

At Shimoda Park, take a leisurely stroll through the forest while looking at the beautiful sea. It's also recommended during hydrangea season.

Finally, head to Perry Road. Cobblestone streets and retro buildings line the streets, making you feel like you've traveled back in time. It's a fun area to walk around with a camera in hand.
